Isolated from Pestalotiopsis mangiferae, an endophytic fungus associated with the mango (Mangifera indica), it shows potent antibacterial and antifungal activity against E. coli, Bacillus subtilis, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Micrococcus luteus, Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Candida albicans.
