A two-strain HT synthetic plant growth-promoting rhizobacterial community assembled from Trichoderma koningiopsis-conditioned Pinus massoniana rhizosphere isolates. The community combines Bacillus siamensis RW5 and Bacillus vallismortis RW8 and was tested against Fusarium oxysporum damping-off in Masson pine seedlings. Relative to the pathogen challenge control, HT reduced disease incidence by 36.67%, increased seedling height by 9.44%, enhanced protective enzyme activity, alleviated membrane damage, and activated the resistance genes PR1, FLS2, and CAT1.

Ecological Interactions
The graph shows only explicitly linked interaction participants. Community members without an asserted participant link are omitted; membership alone does not imply an interaction.
HT SynCom Suppression of Fusarium oxysporum
The two-member HT SynCom, B. siamensis RW5 plus B. vallismortis RW8, was among four mixtures inhibiting Fusarium oxysporum more strongly than individual isolates in vitro. This is measured inhibition, not demonstrated reciprocal competitive harm or proof that plate inhibition mediates seedling protection. HT is distinct from the five-member C2 mixture.

PMID:42144568 - SUPPORT (IN_VITRO)"Four synthetic communities (SynComs) (C1, C2, HT, and 2K) were further constructed, exhibiting superior inhibitory effects against F. oxysporum compared to individual strains."
HT SynCom Masson Pine Damping-Off Protection
HT inoculation increased Fusarium-challenged Masson pine (Pinus massoniana) seedling height by 9.44% and reduced disease incidence by 36.67% relative to the control. These are HT-specific plant outcomes, not demonstrated reciprocal benefit to the bacteria or proof that defense expression is downstream of protection.

PMID:42144568 - SUPPORT (IN_VIVO)"Compared to the control, the C2 and HT SynComs increased seedling height by 10.18% and 9.44%, and reduced disease incidence by 50% and 36.67%, respectively."
Protective Enzyme and Resistance-Gene Activation
C2 and HT treatments in Pinus massoniana seedlings enhanced protective enzyme activity, reduced membrane injury and altered PR1, FLS2 and CAT1 expression. PARTIAL - plant-hormone and MAPK signaling mediation is the source's interpretation; expression and parallel physiological outcomes do not alone establish pathway necessity.

KNOWLEDGE_GAP OPEN Which bacterial and plant pathways mediate HT seedling protection?
Review covered the abstract and selected Figure 4 composition transcriptions, not full methods/results, figure images or supplements. Plate inhibition, seedling protection and defense responses are distinct assays/endpoints; the removed arrows encoded workflow or co-outcomes. HT and C2 compositions and quantitative effects must not be conflated. Additional perturbations in unread material are not certified absent.
