Preparation

  1. Mix components, dispense the medium into culture vessels (e.g., 10 ml in the Hungate tubes) under a N2-CO2 (4:1, v/v) gas stream, seal with butyl rubber stoppers and autoclave. Aseptically and anaerobically add per liter the following solutions (autoclaved and stored under a N2 atmosphere):
  2. Adjust pH to 8.0 - 8.2, if necessary.
