Preparation
- Prepare 75% seawater from natural filtered seawater and deionized water.
- Bring the 75% seawater to the boil, add the powdered rye grass, and boil for 5 minutes.
- Cool and restore the final volume to 1 L with deionized water.
- Filter through Whatman GF/C paper.
- Autoclave at 15 psi for 15 minutes.
