Preparation

  1. Dissolve 10.0 g/L BD-Difco tryptone, 5.0 g/L BD-Difco yeast extract, and 10.0 g/L NaCl in 1000.0 ml/L distilled water.
  2. Adjust pH to 7.0.
  3. Autoclave the pH-adjusted basal LB broth.
  4. After autoclaving, aseptically add 1.0 mM final 1,4-dithiothreitol (DTT).
