GATOR2 complex
A multiprotein subcomplex of the GATOR complex that regulates TORC1 signaling by interacting with the Rag GTPase. In human, this complex consists of WDR24, WDR59, MIOS, SEH1L, and SEC13. In S. cerevisiae, this complex is referred to as SEACAT and contains the Sea2p, Sea3p, Sea4p, Seh1p, Sec13p proteins. [GO:0061700]
Synonyms: SEACAT complex
Part of: Seh1-associated complex (GO:0035859)

Mechanism graphs
GATOR2/SEACAT supports TORC1 signaling (REGULATION)
In Saccharomyces cerevisiae, Sea2, Sea3, Sea4, Seh1 and Sec13 form a SEACAT/GATOR2 branch of the SEA/GATOR complex linked to Rag-family TORC1 regulation.

Discussions
- CURATION_TODO (OPEN): Resolve exact source-neutral InterPro, Pfam, or NCBIfam groundings for the five yeast GATOR2/SEACAT subunit classes. This first GATOR2 record names the yeast Sea2, Sea3, Sea4, Seh1 and Sec13 constituent subunits but leaves family grounding unset until exact orthology and shared-subunit boundaries are reviewed per subunit.
- CURATION_TODO (RESOLVED): Keep the GATOR1/SEACIT GAP subcomplex outside this GATOR2/SEACAT record. GO separates GATOR2/SEACAT from GATOR1/SEACIT, and Bar-Peled et al. 2013 separated human GATOR into two subcomplexes; the Iml1/Npr2/Npr3 GAP branch therefore belongs in the distinct GATOR1 record.
- CURATION_TODO (RESOLVED): Treat Seh1 and Sec13 as GATOR2/SEACAT constituent classes only in this record, despite their other complex contexts. Seh1 and Sec13 are shared beta-propeller proteins, so this record names their SEACAT role without asserting that all Seh1 or Sec13 pools are part of GATOR2.
