Grounded to UBERON:0001996 'elastic cartilage tissue' (EXACT). Compound-path screen (#12, #97): the GOLD leaf alone names nothing, or the wrong thing — every search route reads it in isolation, which is why the class-level sweep recorded no match. The last two path steps together, 'Cartilage > Elastic', name elastic cartilage tissue exactly. The term was not in the vendored slice, so this decision is what pulls it in (#97) — extraction reads decisions.tsv and vendors every term it references. (source concept habitatmech:GOLD.d6c49dfec6)
